Sabhā Parva, Adhyāya 68 — Pāṇḍavānāṃ Vanavāsa-prasthānaḥ; Duḥśāsana-nindā; Pāṇḍava-pratijñāḥ

अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम्‌ । प्रह्नलादस्य च संवादं मुनेराड्धिरसस्य च,इस विषयमें विज्ञपुरुष प्रह्नमाद और अंगिराकुमार मुनि सुधन्वाके संवादरूप इस प्राचीन इतिहासका उदाहरण दिया करते हैं

atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | prahlādasya ca saṃvādaṃ muner āṅgirasaś ca ||

ในเรื่องนี้เอง บัณฑิตทั้งหลายยังยกแบบอย่างจากตำนานโบราณขึ้นกล่าว คือเรื่องเล่าเก่าที่เป็นบทสนทนาระหว่างปรหลาทกับฤๅษีผู้สืบสายอังคิรส
