Maya’s Construction of the Assembly Hall
सा वै शतसहस्नस्य सम्मिता शत्रुधातिनी । अनुरूपा च भीमस्य गाण्डीवं भवतो यथा,'शत्रुओंका संहार करनेवाली वह गदा अकेली ही एक लाख गदाओंके बराबर है। जैसे गाण्डीव धनुष आपके योग्य है, वैसे ही वह गदा भीमसेनके योग्य होगी
sā vai śatasahasrasya sammitā śatrudhātinī | anurūpā ca bhīmasya gāṇḍīvaṃ bhavato yathā ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—“กระบองนั้นเป็นผู้ทำลายศัตรู เพียงอันเดียวก็เทียบได้กับกระบองแสนอัน และดังที่คันศรคาณฑีวะเหมาะแก่ท่าน ฉันใด กระบองนั้นก็เหมาะแก่ภีมเสนะฉันนั้น”
