Shloka 25
दिष्टया दिष्ट्येति राजेन्द्र वाक्यं चेदमुवाच ह । नैतच्चित्रं महाबाहो त्वयि देवकिनन्दन,राजेन्द्र! 'अहो भाग्य! अहो भाग्य!' ऐसा कहकर युधिष्ठिर इस प्रकार बोले--“महाबाहु देवकीनन्दन! आपके रहते यह महान् कार्य सम्पन्न होना कोई आश्वर्यकी बात नहीं है। आप- जैसे सारथिके होते ही पार्थने प्रयत्नपूर्वक उसका वध किया है। महाबाहो! आपकी बुद्धिके प्रसादसे ऐसा होना आश्चर्य नहीं है”
diṣṭyā diṣṭyeti rājendra vākyam cedam uvāca ha | naitac citraṁ mahābāho tvayi devakīnandana ||
ยุธิษฐิระกล่าวว่า—“โอ้ชะตาอันเป็นมงคล! โอ้ชะตาอันเป็นมงคล! ข้าแต่ราชัน!” แล้วกล่าวต่อว่า “โอ้ผู้มีพาหาอันเกรียงไกร โอ้โอรสแห่งเทวคี! เมื่อท่านอยู่ด้วย การสำเร็จแห่งกิจอันยิ่งใหญ่นี้หาใช่เรื่องน่าอัศจรรย์ไม่ เพราะมีท่านเป็นสารถี ปารถะจึงเพียรพยายามสังหารเขาได้ โอ้มหาบาหุ ผลนี้มิใช่สิ่งพิสดาร ด้วยเป็นผลแห่งปัญญาและคำแนะนำอันประเสริฐของท่าน”
