मणिप्रवेकोत्तमवज्रहाटकै- रलंकृतं चास्य वराड्रभूषणम् | प्रविद्धमुर्व्या निपपात पत्रिभि- र्धनंजयेनोत्तमकुण्डलेडपि च
maṇipravekottamavajrahāṭakaiḥ alaṅkṛtaṃ cāsya varāḍrabhūṣaṇam | praviddham urvyā nipapāta patribhiḥ dhanaṃjayenottamakuṇḍaleḍ api ca
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—เครื่องประดับอันประเสริฐของเขา ซึ่งประดับด้วยแก้วมณีชั้นเลิศ เพชรยอดเยี่ยม และทองคำ แม้ต่างหูอันเลิศคู่นั้นก็ถูกศรของธนัญชัยตัดขาด กระเด็นไปแล้วตกลงสู่พื้นพิภพ ในธรรมแห่งสงครามอันเข้มงวด แม้เครื่องหมายแห่งศักดิ์ศรีราชันและเกียรติส่วนตน ก็ย่อมร่วงหล่นต่อหน้าฝีมือที่เหนือกว่าและหน้าที่อันไม่ย่อท้อในสนามรบ
