शोणितोदां महीं कृत्वा मांसमज्जास्थिपड्किलाम्‌ | मनुष्यशीर्षपाषाणां हस्त्यश्वकृतरोधसम्‌

śoṇitodāṃ mahīṃ kṛtvā māṃsamajjāsthipaḍkilām | manuṣyaśīrṣapāṣāṇāṃ hasty-aśva-kṛta-rodhasam

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—สนามรบถูกทำให้เป็นแผ่นดินที่ท่วมด้วยโลหิต กลายเป็นโคลนแห่งเนื้อ ไขกระดูก และกระดูกทั้งหลาย; ศีรษะมนุษย์กองสุมดุจก้อนศิลา และซากช้างกับม้าก็เป็นดั่งคันกั้นและสิ่งกีดขวางขวางทางกระแสนั้น
