एते द्रवन्ति पठचाला वध्यमाना: शितै: शरै: | कर्णेन भरतश्रेष्ठ पाण्डवानुज्जिहीर्षव:,“भरतश्रेष्ठ! कर्णके तीखे बाणोंकी मार खाते हुए भी ये पांचालवीर पाण्डव-सैनिकोंका उद्धार करनेकी इच्छासे (कर्णकी ओर ही) दौड़े जा रहे हैं

Transliteration

ete dravanti pañcālā vadhyamānāḥ śitaiḥ śaraiḥ | karṇena bharataśreṣṭha pāṇḍavān ujjihīrṣavaḥ ||

Translation

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “โอ ผู้ประเสริฐแห่งวงศ์ภารตะ แม้นักรบปัญจาละเหล่านี้จะถูกศรคมของกรรณะฟันแทงจนล้มตาย ก็ยังพุ่งเข้าหาเขาไม่ถอย ด้วยหมายจะกู้กองทัพของปาณฑพให้พ้นภัย”
