भीमसेन उवाच अपयात इतो राजा धर्मपुत्रो युधिष्ठिर: । कर्णबाणाभिततप्ताड़ो यदि जीवेत् कथठ्चन,भीमसेनने कहा--धर्मपुत्र राजा युधिष्ठिर यहाँसे हट गये हैं। कर्णके बाणोंसे उनके सारे अंग संतप्त हो रहे हैं। सम्भव है, वे किसी प्रकार जी रहे हों
bhīmasena uvāca apayāta ito rājā dharmaputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | karṇabāṇābhitataptāṅgo yadi jīvet kathaṃcana ||
ภีมเสนกล่าวว่า “พระราชายุธิษฐิระ โอรสแห่งธรรมะ ได้ถอยจากที่นี่ไปแล้ว กายทั้งมวลของพระองค์ราวถูกแผดเผาด้วยศรของกรรณะ ขอเพียงให้พระองค์ยังมีชีวิตอยู่ไม่ว่าด้วยวิธีใดก็ตาม”
