निवृत्ते तु ततः कर्णे नकुल: कौरवान् ययौ । कर्णपुत्रस्तु समरे हित्वा नकुलमेव तु

ครั้นกรรณะถอยออกไปแล้ว นกุลก็รุกเข้าหาเหล่ากุรุ แต่บุตรของกรรณะในท่ามกลางศึกกลับละคนอื่นเสีย แล้วพุ่งเข้าหานกุลเพียงผู้เดียว
