कर्णनिधनश्रवणम् — Hearing of Karṇa’s Fall and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament
तथा राजन् महेष्वासो जलसंधो महाबल: । सुमहत् कदनं कृत्वा हत: सात्यकिना रणे,राजन! महाधनुर्धर महाबली जलसंध रणभूमिमें शत्रु-सेनाका महान् संहार करके अन्तमें सात्यकिके हाथसे मारे गये
tathā rājan maheṣvāso jalasaṃdho mahābalaḥ | sumahat kadanaṃ kṛtvā hataḥ sātyakinā raṇe ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่ราชัน! ชลสันธะ มหาธนูรธรผู้มีกำลังยิ่ง ได้ก่อการสังหารใหญ่หลวงแก่กองทัพศัตรูในสนามรบ แล้วท้ายที่สุดก็ถูกสาตยกีสังหารในการรบ”
