धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा स्त्रीणां च आर्तनादः

स पीडयित्वा पज्चालान्‌ पाण्डवांश्व॒ तरस्विन: । हत्वा सहस्रशो योधानर्जुनेन निपातित:,वह पांचालों और वेगशाली पाण्डवोंको पीड़ित करके सहस्रों योद्धाओंको मारकर अन्तमें अर्जुनके हाथसे मारा गया

sa pīḍayitvā pāñcālān pāṇḍavāṃś ca tarasvinaḥ | hatvā sahasraśo yodhān arjunena nipātitaḥ ||

เขากดดันเหล่าปาญจาลและปาณฑพผู้ว่องไว ฆ่านักรบเป็นพัน ๆ แต่ท้ายที่สุดก็ถูกอรชุนสังหารล้มลง
