सुनीतैरिह सर्वार्थि्दैवमप्यनुलोम्यते । ते वयं प्रवरं नृणां सर्वैर्गुणगणैर्युतम्‌

Transliteration

saṃjaya uvāca | sunītair iha sarvārthair daivam apy anulomyate | te vayaṃ pravaraṃ nṛṇāṃ sarvair guṇagaṇair yutam |

Translation

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—“ในที่นี้ หากกิจการทั้งปวงดำเนินไปตามนโยบายอันประเสริฐและความประพฤติอันชอบ แม้โชคชะตาก็ยังอาจทำให้เกื้อหนุนได้ เพราะฉะนั้น โอ ภารตะ เราจักสถาปนากรณะ ผู้เลิศในหมู่มนุษย์และเพียบพร้อมด้วยหมู่คุณธรรมทั้งสิ้น ให้เป็นแม่ทัพใหญ่; และเมื่อมีเขาเป็นจอมทัพ เราจักบดขยี้ศัตรูให้ราบคาบ”
