धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा तथा द्रोणविषयकप्रश्नाः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Fainting and Questions Concerning Droṇa
क्षिप्रहस्तं द्विजश्रेष्ठ कृतिनं चित्रयोधिनम् दूरेषुपातिनं दान्तमस्त्रयुद्धेषु पारगम्
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | kṣiprahastaṃ dvijaśreṣṭha kṛtinaṃ citrayodhinam | dūreṣupātinaṃ dāntam astrayuddheṣu pāragam ||
ธฤตราษฏระตรัสว่า— “โอ ทวิชผู้ประเสริฐ! โทฺรณาจารย์นั้นมือไว สำเร็จในศิลป์ และเป็นนักรบผู้มีอุบายการรบอันพิสดารหลากหลาย ยิงศรได้ไกล มีอินทรีย์สงบ และชำนาญในวิทยาการยุทธ์ด้วยอาวุธ แล้วธฤษฏทยุมน์ โอรสแห่งปัญจาล จักสังหารพราหมณ์ผู้เลิศนั้น—ผู้ไม่หวั่นไหวในสนามรบ มุ่งมั่นเพื่อชัยชนะ เป็นมหารถีผู้เกรียงไกร ซึ่งดูประหนึ่งไร้ผู้พิชิตสำหรับศัตรู—ได้อย่างไร?”
