चन्द्ररश्मिप्रकाशाड़ीं पृथिवीं पुरमालिनीम् | उस पर्वतके ऊपरसे जाते हुए श्रीकृष्णसहित अर्जुनने नीचे देखा कि नगरों एवं गाँवोंके समुदायसे सुशोभित
แผ่นดินซึ่งสว่างด้วยรัศมีจันทร์ ประดับด้วยพวงมาลัยแห่งนครทั้งหลาย—เมื่ออรชุนเสด็จผ่านเหนือยอดภูเขานั้นพร้อมพระศรีกฤษณะ—ก็ทอดพระเนตรลงไปเบื้องล่าง เห็นหมู่บ้านและนครเรียงรายงดงาม แผ่นดินประดับด้วยแร่ธาตุสีทอง และมีธารน้ำตกอันรื่นรมย์ ทั่วทุกส่วนของพิภพส่องประกายด้วยแสงจันทร์
