(भीम उवाच प्रतिज्ञोद्भधवशब्देन कृष्णशड्खस्वनेन च । निहतो धार्तराष्ट्रोड्य सानुबन्ध: सुयोधन: ।।

Transliteration

bhīma uvāca | pratijñodbhavaśabdena kṛṣṇaśaṅkhasvanena ca | nihato dhārtarāṣṭro ’dya sānubandhaḥ suyodhanaḥ ||

Translation

ภีมกล่าวว่า “โอ้อรชุน ด้วยเสียงที่บังเกิดจากปฏิญาณของเจ้า และด้วยเสียงสังข์ของพระศรีกฤษณะ ข้าพเจ้าแน่ใจว่า วันนี้สุโยธนะ (ทุรโยธนะ) โอรสแห่งธฤตราษฏระ จักถูกสังหารพร้อมทั้งผู้ผูกพันอยู่กับเขา” โอ้นรश्रेष्ठ วาจาของท่านนี้มีความหมายยิ่งและเป็นที่พอใจแก่ข้าพเจ้า; ด้วยอานุภาพแห่งถ้อยคำ มันขจัดโทสะที่เกิดจากความโศกถึงบุตรของท่าน
