कुरुपाण्डवसैन्यानां शब्देनापूरयज्जगत्‌ । तदनन्तर एक-दूसरेके वधकी इच्छावाले कौरवों तथा पाण्डवोंकी सेनाओंमें भयंकर युद्ध होने लगा और उनके कोलाहलसे सारा जगत्‌ व्याप्त हो गया

Transliteration

kuru-pāṇḍava-sainyānāṃ śabdenāpūrayaj jagat | tadanantaraṃ paraspara-vadha-icchāvāle kauravāṇāṃ tathā pāṇḍavānāṃ senāsu bhayaṅkaraṃ yuddhaṃ babhūva, teṣāṃ kolāhalena ca sarvaṃ jagad vyāptam abhavat |

Translation

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า: เสียงคำรามของกองทัพกุรุและปาณฑพทำให้โลกทั้งผองอื้ออึงกึกก้อง ครั้นแล้วด้วยความมุ่งหมายจะสังหารกันและกัน ศึกอันน่าสยดสยองก็ปะทุขึ้นระหว่างกองทัพเการพกับปาณฑพ และความโกลาหลของพวกเขาดูประหนึ่งแผ่ซ่านไปทั่วพิภพ
