सथधनुश्चापरस्यापि सशर: साड्कुशस्तथा । आक्रोशदन्यमन्यो>त्र तथान्यो विमुखो<द्रवत्
sa dhanus cāparasya api saśaraḥ sāṅkuśas tathā | ākrośad anyam anyo 'tra tathānyo vimukho 'dravat ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ในศึกนั้น แขนของวีรบุรุษผู้หนึ่งซึ่งชูขึ้นสูงพร้อมดาบในมือถูกฟันขาด อีกผู้หนึ่งก็ถูกตัดแขนขาดไปพร้อมคันธนู ลูกศร และตะขอคุมช้าง ณ ที่นั้นทหารคนหนึ่งร้องเรียกอีกคนหนึ่ง ส่วนอีกคนกลับหันหนีจากการรบแล้วหนีไปด้วยความหวาดกลัว
