द्रोणवध-प्रश्नः

जिनके रथका आवरण, रथ तथा धनुष नाना प्रकारके रत्नोंसे जटित एवं अनेक रूपवाले थे, जिनके घोड़े, ध्वजा और पताकाएँ भी विचित्र प्रकारकी थीं, वे राजा चित्र चितकबरे घोड़ोंद्वारा युद्धके मैदानमें आये ।।

ye tu puṣkaraparṇasya tulyavarṇā hayottamāḥ | te rocamānasya sutaṃ hemavarṇam udāvahan ||

ม้าเอกเหล่านั้นซึ่งมีสีดุจใบปทุม ก็พาเหมหวรรณะ บุตรแห่งโรจมานะ เข้าสู่สมรภูมิ
