यदि नारायणास्त्रस्य प्रतियोद्धा न विद्यते । अद्यैतत् प्रतियोत्स्यामि पश्यत्सु कुरुपाण्डुषु
yadi nārāyaṇāstrasya pratiyoddhā na vidyate | adyaitat pratiyotsyāmi paśyatsu kuru-pāṇḍuṣu ||
หากยังไม่มียอดนักรบผู้ใดสามารถต้านทานนารายณาศัสตรานี้ได้แล้วไซร้ วันนี้ต่อหน้าต่อตาเหล่ากุรุและปาณฑพ ข้าพเจ้าจะเป็นผู้เผชิญหน้ากับมันเอง
