vivṛddhas tumulaḥ śabdo dyām agacchan mahāṁs tadā | nānāyudha-nikṛttānāṁ ceṣṭatām āturaḥ svanaḥ ||
ครานั้นเสียงอึกทึกอันใหญ่หลวงซึ่งทวีขึ้นได้พุ่งไปถึงฟากฟ้า ส่วนบนพื้นพิภพกลับได้ยินเสียงครวญครางอันแสนสาหัสของนักรบผู้ถูกฟันด้วยอาวุธนานาประการ กำลังดิ้นรนในวาระสุดท้าย
