श्रीवायुदेव उवाच घटोत्कच विजानीहि यत्‌ त्वां वक्ष्यामि पुत्रक प्राप्तो विक्रमकालो5यं तव नान्यस्य कस्यचित्‌

śrīvāyudeva uvāca | ghaṭotkaca vijānīhi yat tvāṁ vakṣyāmi putraka | prāpto vikramakālo ’yaṁ tava nānyasya kasyacit ||

ศรีกฤษณะตรัสว่า “ลูกเอ๋ย ฆโฏตกจะ จงรู้และเข้าใจถ้อยคำที่เราจะกล่าวแก่เจ้า บัดนี้เป็นกาลแห่งการสำแดงวีรภาพของเจ้า—เป็นของเจ้าแต่ผู้เดียว มิใช่ของผู้ใดอื่น”
