द्रोणपर्व — पञ्चदशोऽध्यायः (Droṇa Parva, Chapter 15): युधिष्ठिर-रक्षा तथा अर्जुनस्य शरवृष्टिः
सौभद्रो5प्यशनिप्रख्यां प्रगृह्ा महतीं गदाम् । एह्टोहीत्यब्रवीच्छल्यं यत्नाद् भीमेन वारित:
Saubhadro 'py aśaniprakhyāṁ pragṛhya mahatīṁ gadām | eho hīty abravīc chalyaṁ yatnād bhīmena vāritaḥ ||
อภิมันยุ บุตรแห่งสุภัทรา ก็ยกกระบองมหึมาดุจสายฟ้าออกมาข้างหน้า ร้องว่า “มาเถิด! มาเถิด!” ท้าทายศัลยะ แต่ภีมเสนะต้องออกแรงอย่างยิ่งจึงยับยั้งเขาไว้ได้
