अत्यद्भुतमिदं तात त्वत्सकाशाच्छूणोम्यहम्‌ । एकस्य बहुभि: सार्ध शत्रुभिस्तैर्महारथै:

Transliteration

atyadbhutam idaṃ tāta tvat-sakāśāc chṛṇomy aham | ekasya bahubhiḥ sārdhaṃ śatrubhis tair mahārathaiḥ ||

Translation

โอ้ท่านบิดา! ข้าพเจ้าได้ยินจากท่านเรื่องอันน่าอัศจรรย์ยิ่งว่า นักรบเพียงผู้เดียวคือสาตยกิ ได้ทำศึกอันดุเดือดกับศัตรูมากมาย—เหล่ามหารถีเหล่านั้น
