प्राक्रोशत्‌ पाण्डवानीके वसुदानश्च पार्थिव: । आगच्छत प्रहरत द्रुतं विपरिधावत

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | prākrośat pāṇḍavānīke vasudānaś ca pārthivaḥ | āgacchata praharata drutaṃ viparidhāvata |

Translation

สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—ในกองทัพปาณฑพ พระราชาวสุทานตะโกนก้องเรียกเหล่านักรบว่า “จงมา! จงวิ่งรุดหน้าและจงฟันแทงโดยเร็ว!” เสียงเรียกนั้นเป็นทั้งกลยุทธ์และการปลุกขวัญท่ามกลางความอลหม่านแห่งศึก เพื่อให้สัตยกีผู้ดุดันไม่ถูกมหารถีฝ่ายเการพจำนวนมากรุมกดทับจนสิ้นแรง
