sañjaya uvāca | prītiyuktaṃ ca hṛdyaṃ ca madhurākṣaram eva ca | kālayuktaṃ ca citraṃ ca nyāyyaṃ yac cāpi bhāṣitum |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา ถ้อยคำของธรรมราชนั้นเปี่ยมด้วยความรัก น่าชื่นใจ ร้อยเรียงด้วยพยางค์อันไพเราะ เหมาะแก่กาล น่าพิศวงในถ้อยสำนวน ควรแก่การกล่าว และตั้งอยู่บนความยุติธรรม. ครั้นได้ฟังแล้ว สาตยกีผู้เป็นยอดแห่งวงศ์ศินี จึงทูลตอบยุธิษฐิระดังนี้.”
