कर्णभीमसेनयुद्धम् | Karṇa–Bhīmasena Engagement
Chapter 111
तस्य नादेन महता कम्पितेयं वसुंधरा
tasya nādena mahatā kampiteyaṃ vasuṃdharā
ด้วยเสียงคำรามอันยิ่งใหญ่ของเขา แผ่นดินนี้ก็สั่นสะเทือน
संजय उवाच
The verse underscores how violent, ego-driven force in war is not merely personal but world-shaking—suggesting that adharma and unchecked fury reverberate through the moral and natural order.
Sañjaya reports that a tremendous roar—likely from a warrior’s shout, weapon, or martial tumult—was so powerful that it made the earth tremble, intensifying the sense of impending catastrophe on the battlefield.
