Adhyāya 92: Irāvanta-śoka, punaḥ-pravṛttiḥ saṅgrāmasya
Arjuna’s grief and the battle’s renewed intensity
निवारय सुतान् द्यूतात् पाण्डवान् मा द्रुहेति च । सुहृदां हितकामानां ब्रुवतां तत् तदेव च
nivāraya sutān dyūtāt pāṇḍavān mā druheti ca | suhṛdāṃ hitakāmānāṃ bruvatāṃ tat tadeva ca ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “จงห้ามบุตรของท่านจากการเล่นสกา; อย่าก่อเวรกับเหล่าปาณฑพ” มิตรสหายผู้หวังความเกื้อกูลต่อท่านต่างกล่าวตักเตือนซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่าด้วยถ้อยคำเดียวกันนั้น แต่ท่านกลับไม่ยอมรับวาจาอันเป็นคุณ—ดุจคนใกล้ตายที่รังเกียจโอสถอันเป็นทางรอด ฉะนั้น ผลลัพธ์จึงมาปรากฏต่อหน้าท่านดังที่วิทุระผู้ประเสริฐได้ทำนายไว้แล้ว
