मार्गाश्न चरतश्षित्रं व्यस्मयन्त रणे जना: । वे बार-बार उछलते, सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें दौड़ते और युद्धके विचित्र पैंतरे दिखाते हुए रणभूमिमें विचरते थे। यशस्वी भीमसेनका यह पराक्रम देखकर लोगोंको बड़ा आश्चर्य होता था
sañjaya uvāca | mārgāś ca carataś citraṃ vyasmayanta raṇe janāḥ |
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า—เมื่อเขาเคลื่อนไหวไปทั่วสมรภูมิด้วยการเปลี่ยนทิศทางฉับไวและท่ารบอันพิสดาร ผู้คนในศึกต่างตะลึงงัน เขากระโจนซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า พุ่งไปทุกทิศ และสำแดงกลยุทธ์อันน่าอัศจรรย์บนผืนรณภูมิ ครั้นเห็นเดชานุภาพของภีมเสนผู้เลื่องชื่อ ผู้ชมทั้งหลายก็พิศวงยิ่งนัก
