परस्परेण धावन्त: पतिता: पुनरुत्थिता:
sañjaya uvāca | paraspareṇa dhāvantaḥ patitāḥ punar utthitāḥ | jighāṃsantaṃ yudhāṃ śreṣṭha tadā āsīt tumulaṃ mahat ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “โอ้ยอดนักรบ ขณะนั้นศึกกลายเป็นมหาศึกอันอื้ออึง ผู้คนพุ่งเข้าหากัน หลายคนล้มลงแล้วลุกขึ้นอีก ด้วยความมุ่งหมายจะสังหาร พวกเขาก็ถลาเข้าสู่การปะทะครั้งแล้วครั้งเล่า”
