Renunciation and the Discipline of Action
यदि हाहं न वर्तेयं जातु कर्मण्यतन्द्रित: । मम वर्त्मनिवर्तन्ते मनुष्या: पार्थ सर्वश:,क्योंकि हे पार्थ! यदि कदाचित् मैं सावधान होकर कर्मोमें न बरतूँ तो बड़ी हानि हो जाय; क्योंकि मनुष्य सब प्रकारसे मेरे ही मार्गका अनुसरण करते हैं“
yadi hy ahaṁ na varteyaṁ jātu karmaṇy atandritaḥ | mama vartmānuvartante manuṣyāḥ pārtha sarvaśaḥ ||
โอ้ ปารถะ หากเราหยุดไม่กระทำหน้าที่ด้วยความตื่นรู้แม้เพียงคราเดียว ความเสียหายใหญ่หลวงย่อมบังเกิด เพราะมนุษย์ทั้งหลายย่อมดำเนินตามรอยทางของเราในทุกประการ
