Sainyavinyāsa–Lakṣaṇa (Disposition of Armies and Battlefield Omens) | सैन्यविन्यास–लक्षणम्
संव्यूह् मानुषं व्यूहं दैवं गान्धर्वमासुरम् दिवसे दिवसे प्राप्ते भीष्म: शान्तनवोडग्रणी:
saṃvyūhya mānuṣaṃ vyūhaṃ daivaṃ gāndharvam āsuram | divase divase prāpte bhīṣmaḥ śāntanavo 'grāṇīḥ ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา ครั้นวันแล้ววันเล่าเวียนมาถึง ภีษมะโอรสแห่งศานตนุ ผู้เป็นยอดแห่งผู้นำ ย่อมจัดทัพเการพให้เป็นกระบวนยุทธ์สืบต่อกัน ทั้งแบบมนุษย์ แบบทิพย์ แบบคันธรรพ์ และแบบอสูร แล้วท่านยืนอยู่แนวหน้ากองทัพ วางนโยบายศึกประจำวัน และด้วยวินัยกับเดชานุภาพอันน่าเกรงขาม กำหนดท่วงทำนองแห่งสงครามนั้น”
