भीष्मस्य अप्रतिमपराक्रमः — शिखण्डिपुरस्कृतः प्रहारः

Bhīṣma’s unmatched momentum and the assault with Śikhaṇḍin in the lead

धृष्टद्युम्नस्तथा राजन सौभद्रश्न महारथ: । हृष्टावाद्रवतां भीष्म॑ श्रुत्वा पार्थस्य भाषितम्‌

dhṛṣṭadyumnas tathā rājan saubhadraś ca mahārathaḥ | hṛṣṭāv ādravatāṁ bhīṣmaṁ śrutvā pārthasya bhāṣitam ||
