शकक्‍्यन्ते परिसंख्यातुं पुण्यास्ता हि सरिद्वरा: । तव पुण्या जनपदाश्षत्वारो लोकसम्मता:

Transliteration

śakyante parisaṅkhyātuṃ puṇyāstā hi saridvarāḥ | tava puṇyā janapadāś catvāro lokasammatāḥ ||

Translation

สายน้ำอันประเสริฐและศักดิ์สิทธิ์ยิ่งเหล่านั้นย่อมไม่อาจนับได้ การจำแนกจำนวนให้ครบถ้วนเกินวิสัย และในแดนเกาะนั้นยังมีแคว้นศักดิ์สิทธิ์สี่แห่ง อันเป็นที่ยกย่องนับถือของชาวโลก
