Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharmic conduct through timely, grateful reverence: one should approach benefactors and elders with humility and proper etiquette, expressing gratitude through respectful salutations and disciplined behavior.

Uttarā, pleased and at the appropriate moment, rises and comes before Kṛṣṇa carrying her son, and offers him respectful salutations—marking a courteous, devotional acknowledgment of Kṛṣṇa’s protection and guidance in the aftermath of the war.
