गायतां पर्वतेन्द्रस्य दिवस्पृणिव नि:स्वन: । जैसे मुनिगणोंसे मेरुकी शोभा होती है
gāyatāṃ parvatendrasya divaspṛṇiva niḥsvanaḥ |
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า จากยอดแห่งจอมภูผานั้น เสียงขับร้องอันไพเราะของชายหญิงผู้เริงรื่นด้วยความยินดี ก้องกังวานยิ่งนัก ประหนึ่งแผ่ไปเติมเต็มถึงสวรรค์ชั้นฟ้า ดุจเขาพระเมรุงามด้วยหมู่ฤๅษีมาชุมนุม ฉันใด ภูผานั้นก็งามยิ่งด้วยชาวทวารกามาประชุมฉันนั้น และเสียงเพลงอันหวานจากยอดเขาก็เหมือนแผ่ไปถึงแดนเทวโลก
