यद्‌ दुर्लभं हि लोकेडस्मिन्‌ रत्नमत्यद्भुतं महत्‌ | तदानयेयं तपसा न हि मे<त्रास्ति संशय:,“इस लोकमें जो अत्यन्त दुर्लभ, अद्भुत एवं महान्‌ रत्न हो, उसे भी मैं तपस्याके बलसे ला सकता हूँ; इसमें संशय नहीं है”

Transliteration

yad durlabhaṁ hi loke 'smin ratnam atyadbhutaṁ mahat | tad ānaye'yaṁ tapasā na hi me 'trāsti saṁśayaḥ ||

Translation

โคตมะกล่าวว่า “อัญมณีใดในโลกนี้ที่หายากยิ่ง—พิสดารและยิ่งใหญ่—ข้าพเจ้าก็สามารถนำมาได้ด้วยเดชแห่งตบะ ในข้อนี้ข้าพเจ้าไม่สงสัยเลย”
