Brāhmaṇī–Brāhmaṇa Saṃvāda
एवमुक्त: स शान्तात्मा तामुवाच हसन्निव | सुभगे नाभ्यसूयामि वाक्यस्यास्य तवानघे,पत्नीके ऐसा कहनेपर वे शान्तचित्तवाले ब्राह्मण देवता हँसते हुए-से बोले --'सौभाग्यशालिनि! तुम पापसे सदा दूर रहती हो; अतः तुम्हारे इस कथनके लिये मैं बुरा नहीं मानता
evam uktaḥ sa śāntātmā tām uvāca hasann iva | subhage nābhyasūyāmi vākyasyāsya tavānaghe ||
ครั้นถูกกล่าวเช่นนั้น ผู้มีจิตสงบจึงตอบนางราวกับยิ้มบาง ๆ ว่า “โอ้ สตรีผู้เป็นสิริมงคล โอ้ ผู้ไร้มลทิน เพราะเจ้าห่างไกลบาปอยู่เสมอ ข้าจึงไม่ขุ่นเคืองต่อถ้อยคำของเจ้า.”
