Marutta’s Sacrifice: Indra’s Threat, Saṃvarta’s Mantric Restraint, and Divine Reconciliation (अध्याय १०)
अग्निदेव तुम्हारी सब ओरसे रक्षा करें। देवराज इन्द्र तुम्हारे लिये जलकी नहीं, सम्पूर्ण कामनाओंकी वर्षा करें और तुम्हारे वधके लिये उठे हुए और जलराशिके साथ चंचल गतिसे चले हुए महाघोर वज्रको वे देवेन्द्र अपने हाथमें ही रखे रहें
Agnidevaḥ tumhārī saba orase rakṣā kareṃ. Devarāja Indra tumhāre liye jalakī nahīṃ, sampūrṇa kāmanāoṃ kī varṣā kareṃ, aura tumhāre vadhake liye uṭhe hue aura jalarāśike sātha cañcala gati se cale hue mahāghora vajrako ve Devendra apane hāthameṃ hī rakhe raheṃ.
สัมวรตะกล่าวว่า “ขอพระอัคนีคุ้มครองท่านจากทุกทิศทุกทาง ขอพระอินทร์ผู้เป็นราชาแห่งเทพ โปรยปรายแก่ท่านมิใช่เพียงสายน้ำ หากเป็นความสมบูรณ์แห่งปรารถนาทั้งปวง และขอวัชระอันน่าสะพรึงของเทเวนทร์—ซึ่งยกขึ้นเพื่อประหารผู้หมายฆ่าท่าน และพุ่งพล่านด้วยความเร็วอันกระสับกระส่ายดุจสายน้ำหลาก—จงถูกยับยั้งไว้ในพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์เอง”
