न च मन्युस्त्वया कार्य: श्रेयस्ते समुपस्थितम्‌ । यत्‌ काडक्षितं हादिस्थं ते तत्‌ सर्व हि भविष्यति,“तुम्हें अपने मनमें खेद नहीं करना चाहिये। अब तुम्हारे कल्याणका समय उपस्थित हुआ है। तुम्हारे मनमें जो-जो अभिलाषा होगी वह सब पूर्ण हो जायगी”

na ca manyus tvayā kāryaḥ śreyas te samupasthitam | yat kāṅkṣitaṃ hṛdisthaṃ te tat sarvaṃ hi bhaviṣyati ||

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “อย่าให้ความโศกหรือความขุ่นเคืองมีที่อยู่ในใจของเจ้า บัดนี้กาลแห่งความเกื้อกูลแก่เจ้าได้มาถึงแล้ว ความปรารถนาใด ๆ ที่เจ้าซ่อนไว้ในดวงใจ—สิ่งที่เจ้าเฝ้ารำพึงถึง—ทั้งหมดนั้นจักสำเร็จเป็นจริงแน่นอน”
