Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)

च्यवन उवाच राजन्‌ नाहंम्यहं कोटिं भूयो वापि महाद्युते । सदृशं दीयतां मूल्यं ब्राह्मणैः सह चिन्तय

cyavana uvāca rājann nāhamya-haṁ koṭiṁ bhūyo vāpi mahādyute | sadṛśaṁ dīyatāṁ mūlyaṁ brāhmaṇaiḥ saha cintaya ||

จยวนะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา ผู้รุ่งเรืองยิ่ง เรามิใช่ผู้จะถูกซื้อขายด้วยหนึ่งโกฏิ หรือแม้มากกว่านั้น จงให้ค่าตอบแทนที่สมควร และจงปรึกษาหารือร่วมกับพราหมณ์ทั้งหลายเถิด”
