Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: katham asya prayoktavyaḥ saṃskāraḥ kasya vā katham | deyā kanyā kathaṃ ceti tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||

Translation

ยุธิษฐิระกล่าวว่า “ท่านปิตามหะ โปรดบอกข้าพเจ้าเถิด: พิธีสังสการของเด็กผู้นี้ควรกระทำอย่างไร และควรยึดตามระเบียบแห่งวรรณะใด? จะพึงวินิจฉัยว่าวรรณะที่แท้ของเขาคืออะไรได้อย่างไร? และควรมอบหญิงสาวให้เขาแต่งงานด้วยโดยวิธีใด และจากชุมชนใด? ขอท่านอธิบายแก่ข้าพเจ้า”
