Nahuṣa–Cyavana Episode
योनिष्वेतासु सर्वासु संकीर्णास्वितरासु च । यत्रात्मानं न जनयेद् बुधस्तां परिवर्जयेत्
yoniṣv etāsu sarvāsu saṅkīrṇāsv itarāsu ca | yatrātmānaṃ na janayed budhas tāṃ parivarjayet ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ในบรรดาครรภ์กำเนิดทั้งหลายที่กล่าวมา ทั้งจำพวกปะปนและจำพวกต่ำต้อยอื่น ๆ ด้วยนั้น บัณฑิตไม่พึงให้กำเนิดบุตรในที่ซึ่งตนไม่ปรารถนาจะให้ ‘ตนเอง’ บังเกิดขึ้นอีก ความสัมพันธ์เช่นนั้นพึงหลีกเลี่ยงโดยสิ้นเชิง”
