ते चापि सदृशं वर्ण जनयन्ति स्वयोनिषु | परस्परस्य दारेषु जनयन्ति विगर्हितान्
te cāpi sadṛśaṃ varṇaṃ janayanti svayoniṣu | parasparasya dāreṣu janayanti vigarhitān |
ชนผู้เกิดจากวรรณะปนเปเหล่านี้ เมื่อร่วมกับสตรีในหมู่ของตน ก็ย่อมให้กำเนิดบุตรผู้มีฐานะปนเปเช่นเดียวกัน แต่หากไปข้องเกี่ยวกับสตรีต่างหมู่—ถึงขั้นกับภรรยาของกันและกัน—บุตรที่เกิดย่อมถูกถือว่าน่าติเตียนยิ่งกว่าตนเอง
