Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
क्षमावन्तश्न धीराश्च धर्मकार्येषु चोत्थिता: | मड़ुलाचारसम्पन्ना: पुरुषा: स्वर्गगामिन:,जो क्षमावान्, धीर, धर्मकार्यके लिये उद्यत रहनेवाले और मांगलिक आचारसे सम्पन्न हैं, वे पुरुष भी स्वर्गगामी होते हैं
kṣamāvantaś ca dhīrāś ca dharmakāryeṣu cotthitāḥ | maṅgalācārasampannāḥ puruṣāḥ svargagāminaḥ ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—บุรุษผู้มีขันติ อดกลั้นได้ มั่นคงกล้าหาญ พร้อมลุกขึ้นกระทำกิจเพื่อธรรมอยู่เสมอ และประกอบด้วยจริยาวัตรอันเป็นมงคลและมีระเบียบวินัย—ผู้นั้นด้วยคุณธรรมเหล่านี้ย่อมบรรลุหนทางสู่สวรรค์
