Aṣṭāvakra–Strī-saṃvāda: Dhṛti, hospitality, and a dispute on autonomy

वहाँ जो उस पद्मपूर्ण पुष्करिणीकी रक्षा कर रहे थे, वे सब मणिभद्र आदि राक्षस भगवान्‌ अष्टावक्रको देखकर उनके स्वागतके लिये उठकर खड़े हो गये ।। स तानू प्रत्यर्चयामास राक्षसान्‌ भीमविक्रमान्‌ । निवेदयत मां क्षिप्रं धनदायेति चाब्रवीत्‌,मुनिने भी उन भयंकर पराक्रमी राक्षसोंके प्रति सम्मान प्रकट किया और कहा --“आपलोग शीघ्र ही धनपति कुबेरको मेरे आगमनकी सूचना दे दें”

sa tānū pratyarcayāmāsa rākṣasān bhīmavikramān | nivedayata māṁ kṣipraṁ dhanadāyeti cābravīt ||

ท่านได้ตอบรับด้วยการให้เกียรติแก่เหล่ารากษสผู้เกรียงไกรนั้น แล้วกล่าวว่า “จงรีบกราบทูลธนท (กุเบร) ถึงการมาถึงของเราโดยพลัน”
