चन्द्र: सूर्य: शनि: केतुर्ग्रहो ग्रहपतिर्वर: । अत्रिरत््या नमस्कर्ता मृगबाणार्पणो$नघ:

candraḥ sūryaḥ śaniḥ ketur graho grahapatiḥ varaḥ | atrir atryā namaskartā mṛgabāṇārpaṇo 'naghaḥ ||

พระวายุเทพตรัสว่า “(พระองค์ทรงเป็น) จันทร์ สุริยะ เสาร์ และเกตุ; ทรงเป็น ‘ครหะ’ คือราหูผู้ก่อให้เกิดคราส เป็นเจ้าและผู้พิทักษ์แห่งดาวเคราะห์ทั้งหลาย ผู้ควรเลือกสรรบูชายิ่ง (พระองค์ทรงเป็น) อตรีในรูปฤๅษี; ทรงเป็นผู้ถวายความเคารพแก่อัตรียา (อนสูยา ภริยาแห่งอตรี) ในรูปทุรวาสา; และทรงเป็นผู้ปราศจากบาป ผู้ปล่อยศรใส่พิธียัญเมื่อรูปกวางได้ปรากฏ”
