Shloka 52

न जातु त्वमिति ब्रूयादापन्नो5पि महत्तरम्‌ | त्वंकारो वा वधो वेति विद्वत्सु न विशिष्यते

na jātu tvam iti brūyād āpanno 'pi mahattaram | tvaṃkāro vā vadho veti vidvatsu na viśiṣyate, yudhiṣṭhira |

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ยธิษฐิระเอ๋ย แม้ตกอยู่ในภัยพิบัติอันใหญ่หลวง ก็อย่าได้เรียกผู้สูงศักดิ์ด้วยสรรพนามสนิทว่า ‘เจ้า/เธอ’ (ตฺวํ) เลย ในทัศนะของบัณฑิต การล่วงเกินด้วยคำว่า ‘ตฺวํ’ กับการทำร้ายให้ถึงตาย หาได้ต่างกันไม่”
