अहं होन॑ वेझि तत्त्वेन कृष्णं यो<यं हि यच्चास्य बल॑ पुराणम्‌ | अमेयात्मा केशव: कौरवेन्द्र सो<यं धर्म वक्ष्यति संशयेषु,इन श्रीकृष्णका जो स्वरूप है और जो इनका पुरातन बल है, उसे ठीक-ठीक मैं जानता हूँ। कौरवराज! भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण अप्रमेय हैं; अतः तुम्हारे मनमें संदेह होनेपर यही तुम्हें धर्मका उपदेश करेंगे

Transliteration

ahaṃ hi veda tattvena kṛṣṇaṃ yo ’yaṃ hi yac cāsya balaṃ purāṇam | ameyātmā keśavaḥ kauravendra so ’yaṃ dharmaṃ vakṣyati saṃśayeṣu ||

Translation

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า— “เรารู้จักพระกฤษณะตามสภาวะจริง—ว่าท่านคือผู้ใด และพลังดั้งเดิมอันโบราณของท่านเป็นเช่นไร โอเจ้าแห่งกุรุวงศ์ เคศวะมีสภาวะอันประมาณมิได้ เพราะฉะนั้นเมื่อใดที่ความสงสัยเกิดขึ้นในใจท่าน เมื่อนั้นเองท่านผู้นี้จะประกาศแก่ท่านว่าธรรมคือสิ่งใด”
