ते ययु: शरणं विप्रानूचुस्ते कान् जयामहे । इत्युक्तास्ते द्विजान् प्राहुर्जयतेह कपानिति
Transliteration
te yayuḥ śaraṇaṃ viprān ūcuś te kān jayāmahe | ity uktās te dvijān prāhur jayateha kapān iti ||
Translation
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—เหล่าเทพไปขอพึ่งพราหมณ์และถามว่า “เราควรพิชิตผู้ใด?” ครั้นพราหมณ์กล่าวเช่นนั้น เหล่าเทพจึงตอบว่า “ณ ที่นี้ จงพิชิตอสูรที่มีนามว่า ‘กปะ’ เถิด”
