एवं दग्धा भगवता दानवा: स्वेन तेजेसा । अगस्त्येन तदा राज॑ंस्तपसा भावितात्मना,'“राजन्! इस प्रकार शुद्ध अन्तःकरणवाले भगवान् अगस्त्यने अपने तप और तेजसे दानवोंको दग्ध कर दिया था
evaṁ dagdhā bhagavatā dānavāḥ svena tejasā | agastyena tadā rājan tapasā bhāvitātmanā ||
ข้าแต่พระราชา ด้วยประการฉะนี้ เหล่าทานวะถูกเผาผลาญด้วยเดชของพระฤๅษีอคัสตยะผู้เป็นมหาบุรุษ ผู้มีจิตอันบริสุทธิ์และมั่นคงด้วยตบะ โดยอานุภาพแห่งรัศมีธรรมของท่านเอง
