कथितं त्वनयासत्यं गायत्रया कन्यया दिवि । विजेष्याम्यवशानू् सर्व ब्राद्मणांश्वर्मवासस:
kathitaṃ tv anayā satyaṃ gāyatrayā kanyayā divi | vijeṣyāmy avaśān sarvān brāhmaṇān carmavāsasaḥ |
อรชุนกล่าวว่า “ถ้อยประกาศในสวรรค์โดยนางกายตรีนั้น—ว่าพราหมณ์สูงกว่ากษัตริย์—หาเป็นความจริงไม่ พราหมณ์ผู้ห่มหนังสัตว์เหล่านั้นโดยมากย่อมพึ่งพาและถูกบีบคั้น; เราจักพิชิตเขาทั้งสิ้น ในสามโลกนี้ไม่มีทั้งเทพหรือมนุษย์ผู้ใดจะขับเราให้พ้นจากอำนาจราชย์ได้; เพราะฉะนั้นเราจึงสูงกว่าพราหมณ์”
